Fintech & payments
Money software, where the visible part is the smallest part
A cross-border transfer is a few taps. Underneath sit compliance, encryption, exchange rates and reconciliation — and every one of them has to be exactly right, every time.
The problem
In payments, “nearly right” is the same as wrong
Most software can tolerate a rounding error or a retry that fires twice. Payment software cannot. A duplicated transfer, a rate applied a second late or a fee calculated on the wrong base is not a bug report — it is somebody’s money, and it is a regulatory problem. So we build these systems the other way round from most products. The ledger, the reconciliation and the audit trail come first; the interface comes last. The South African remittance app looks like a few taps because everything difficult happens underneath it. The same discipline applies to investment platforms. Fractional property ownership only works if every distribution reconciles to the last unit — which is what the Dubai RWA platform does on chain, automatically.
What is included
What we build for financial products
01
Cross-border remittance
Two-way transfers with compliance checks, encryption and exact rate and fee calculation. Live since 2022 and processing steadily.
02
Payment and billing platforms
Multiple providers, partial refunds, retries and the reconciliation that decides whether your finance team trusts the system.
03
Investment and ownership platforms
Fractional ownership, distributions and on-chain records, as built for a Dubai property group processing USD 500K in ownership.
04
Wallets and custody choices
Custodial or non-custodial, chosen deliberately. Each moves risk somewhere different and the decision has to be made with open eyes.
05
Compliance workflows
KYC, limits, sanctions screening and audit trails designed in from the start, because retrofitting compliance means rebuilding.
06
Reconciliation and reporting
The part nobody demos and everybody needs. If the numbers do not tie out daily, the product is not finished.
Typical outcomes
What good looks like
The ledger comes first
Balances derive from an immutable record of events. Mutating a balance directly is how money goes missing and how nobody can explain where.
Every operation is idempotent
Networks retry. A retried transfer must never move money twice, and a replayed webhook must never refund twice.
Exact arithmetic, never floats
Currency is handled in minor units with explicit rounding rules. Floating point in a payment path is a defect waiting for scale.
Compliance is architecture
Screening, limits and audit trails sit in the core rather than in a wrapper, because a regulator’s question is about the system, not the screen.

RWA tokenisation · Dubai · Blockchain
Fractional property ownership, tokenised
A Dubai real-estate group wanted multiple investors to hold a single property between them. We built the tokenisation platform underneath it — issuance, ownership splits and automated profit distribution, on chain.

Cross-border money transfer, with the hard part underneath
A South African client needed payments moving in both directions with as few taps as possible. The simple interface is the easy half; the compliance, encryption and calculation underneath it are where the work actually is.

FAQ
Fintech & payments questions
We build the workflows — identity capture, screening, limits and audit trails — and work to the requirements of your licence and jurisdiction. We are engineers, not your compliance advisers, and the two roles should stay separate.
Yes. We built one for a South African client that has been live since 2022, handling two-way transfers with compliance and encryption throughout.
Immutable event ledgers, idempotent operations, exact decimal arithmetic and daily reconciliation. If a balance cannot be derived from the events that produced it, the design is wrong.
We build to the constraints you are regulated under. Bring your compliance requirements into the first conversation rather than the last — they shape the architecture more than any feature does.
